Overview
The Arduino Mega 2560 is a microcontroller based development board designed for projects that require a lot of input/output pins and processing power. The Mega 2560 It is based on the ATmega2560 from Atmel and has 54 digital IO pins (15 of which can be used as PWM outputs), 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs, 16 MHz crystal oscillator.
For powering the board simply connect it to a computer using the USB cable, the board has a USB Type-B connector. You can also power the board using a AC-DC power adapter or a battery ranging from 7V to 12V.
