This module is built with SIMCOM Make SIM800 Quad-band GSM/GPRS engine, works on frequencies 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 1900 MHz. It is very compact in size and easy to use as plug in GSM Modem.The baud rate is configurable from 9600-115200 through AT command.Initially Modem is in Auto baud mode.The modem needs only two wires (Tx, Rx) except Power supply to interface with microcontroller/Host.

  • 12v supply is given to the DC jack.
  • Inset the simcard.
  • Then push switch to ON.
  • Then power LED is ON , as well as buzzer is ON.
  • There is another two LEDs will on , One is for network selection(Yellow) and
  • Another for range selection(Green).range LED blinks fast that means range is selected.
  • Make connection with PC through TTL .
  • Open hyperterminal and check through commands.
  • When make a call for that no , buzzer is getting ON.
